Associate Vice President, Research and Program Innovation
Dr. Diane Burt is both an educator and educational leader. She has experience in the non-profit, for-profit and public sectors, but she has spent most of her career in post-secondary education. For the past seven years, Diane has held the position of Director of Applied Research and Innovation at NBCC. In this role, she established NBCC’s first applied research office and contributed to the creation of a culture for applied research and innovation that enhances the learning experience for students while meeting the needs of industry and community partners. She is currently serving in a one-year interim role as Associate Vice President Research and Program Innovation. Diane also teaches part-time in the MEd in Educational Leadership program at Yorkville University. She holds a BA in English, BEd in Secondary Education, MEd in Adult Education, and EdD in Educational Leadership.
