Dr. Aynslie Ogden is the Senior Science Advisor in the Government of Yukon’s Executive Council Office.  In this role, Aynslie provides strategic direction and policy advice to Yukon government on how to do and use science.  Aynslie has been involved in leading, facilitating and coordinating research in Yukon for the past 20 years at the interface of science and policy with an emphasis on northern capacity development and advancing best practice in how knowledge is generated and applied. Aynslie is currently leading collaborative work to advance the Executive Council Office’s mandate to develop a government-wide approach to respecting and reflecting Indigenous ways of knowing and doing in government actions and decisions.  Aynslie is Adjunct Faculty at University of Alberta and Yukon College, and is registered with professional associations in B.C as a forester, agrologist and biologist.
