I work for the Michael Smith Foundation for Health Research, British Columbia's health research funding agency. Our mandate focuses on helping to develop, retain and recruit the talented people whose research improves the health of British Columbians, addresses health system priorities, creates jobs and adds to the knowledge economy. I am interested learning about the challenges faces with Canadian researchers, the career trajectories of trainees and early career researchers, and role of academic research in the commercialization process.
